Hints of Having a Healty Life

Health problems are things that affect people’s life negatively. Today, many people have some serious health problems. Have you ever thought why people have more health problems today compared to the past? There are basically two causes of rising health problems that we should know about. These are that people don’t exercise regularly, and people’s eating habits are changing. Are people really aware of the threat? Then, why is it that, despite all of the negative effects of health problems, people do not take necessary precautions against these health problems. Perhaps it is because the causes of rising health problems are not talked about enough. If they were, many people would be aware of the two causes of rising health problems.

The first cause of rising health problem is that people do not exercise regularly. First of all, people who do not exercise regularly become overweight. For example, every human’s body need an average energy to maintain its work. People take this energy by eating food. When people eat something, the calories of that food enter the body, and after the body uses the calories that it needs, surplus calories are stored in the body as fat. However if people exercise regularly, these excessive calories are burned daily, and people do not become overweight. Also, people who are overweight cannot maintain their life easily. For example, when a person who is overweight wants to go somewhere, s/he always needs a car because s/he cannot walk long distances, and s/he gets tired easily. Also, some people who are overweight become shy  because when they were in primary school, they were ridiculed by their friends because of their weight, and their self-confidence decreases. Secondly, people who do not exercise regularly become more vulnerable to disease. For example, the risk of having a heart attack increases in people who do not exercise regularly because the vascular occlusion occurs in people who do not exercise regularly. Also, people’s bones become weaker, and their bones can be broken easily by a light blow. Moreover, the immune systems of people who do not exercise regularly are weak. When these people become sick, they cannot recover soon from the illness, but people who have strong immune system can recover from the illness in a few days.

The second cause of rising health problem is that people’s eating habits are changing. First of all, people usually eat artificial foods. In the past, people generally consumed food that they produced, and  people who cannot produce natural foods bought these foods from people who could produce it, but today there are a lot of artificial foods with the effects of urbanization, development of technology, etc… At first, the nutritive values of these artificial foods are very low. For example, even if a person eats one hundred egg, s/he cannot gain the same nutrition values as a natural one. Maybe a person thinks “I have a balance diet, I eat cheese, eggs, I drink milk,” but in contemporary times food, let alone having nutritious benefit, causes serious health issues. Also, people’s biological structures change because of the negative effects of consuming artificial foods, because these foods have many harmful substance like preservers. Moreover, artificial foods increase the risk of cancer considerably. For example, in the past, there were few people who had cancer, but today many people suffer from this diseases because of the negative effects of artificial foods. Secondly, people do not have a balanced diet. That is because of the speed of modern life. Today, most people skip a meal with some snacks, so they cannot take enough energy, and they get tired physically and psychologically. Moreover, the fashion of diet that are dictated to people by the media retains people from having a balanced diet. For example, when a woman or a man see a celebrity who is fit, handsome or beautiful on TV, s/he wants to become like this celebrity, but s/he does not know the real reason of becoming fit. Famous people do not become fit by eating less. On the contrary, they have a balanced diet, and exercise regularly. Moreover, when people do not have a balanced diet, the risk of being ill increases because the defend system of the body gets weak and illnesses can easily spread in body.

To sum up, there are mainly two causes of rising health problems. These are lack of regular exercise, and changing eating habits that manifest in causes of health problems. If people really want to, they can get rid of these two causes of rising health problems easily by taking some precautions, and chancing their daily monotonous life styles. We should not forget that health is our the most valuable treasure that after we lose once, we may not gain it again in the world.  So, we should take all the precautions we can to keep it safe.
